I haven't heard from last year's leaders either on this group. They may be doing something on their own. Personally I've been out of the country and won't be able to participate this year. There's still time to plan something but it should happen now. I'll write a message to the group so leaders can at least share what their plans are this year.

I had another commitment on the date last year so I wasn't able to volunteer.  I participated the year before.  When I participated there were several sites throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn and I think Queens as well.  It was not one big group event, rather smaller teams that volunteered at different sites.  I'm pretty sure that this is the way it was organized last year as well.
