Help Portrait Is... - We want your help

We now WOULD like for you to say "Help-Portrait Is..." before you complete the sentence. Sorry for the change. We can edit as we need to but it's good to have too much instead of too little.

Also, if you've already filmed or submitted your video, no worries. No need to do it again. As long as the rest of you say the full sentence... THANKS!

We have one more very exciting idea we'd love your help on.

We want to launch another video to the world that we hope ALL of you would be a part of. The video would be called "Help-Portrait is..."

All you have to do is film yourself finishing that sentence in 140 characters or less. No need to actually say "Help-Portrait Is..." Just complete the sentence in 140 characters or less! So maybe type it out, then film yourself saying it into the camera.

We want to put this video out BEFORE Christmas as our gift to the world and hope that the word continues to spread for the next event.

We also would be THRILLED if some of you could go back and film your subjects saying this as well. Major, major extra points for that. Obviously, get their permission, let them know that this would be shown on the internet, etc. To further protect any privacy issues, you could even zoom in real close on only their mouths saying this sentence. Be as creative as you want. You can even film groups of people finishing the sentence, write it out, just complete the sentence!

Also, we realize that your some of your subjects won't get the "140 Characters or less" idea. So just tell them a couple sentences or less would be fine.

It would have been ideal to do all this the day of the event. We're sorry the idea didn't hit us BEFORE the event. However, we still think this will be an extremely powerful video to show the world.

If any of you are overseas, please finish the sentence in your native language. No need to speak in English!

Please speak loudly so we can hear you and passionately... like you really do care. It can be easy to BE passionate about something but not SPEAK passionately about something.

The deadline is THIS Sunday, the 20th! We'll create the video on Monday, the 21st!

As far as video formats, quicktime files are preferred but just upload whatever you can and as high res as you can!

Please create a NEW folder called "YOURCITY_YOURSTATE_YOURCOUNTRY" and drop your file in there.
Change the folder name to your appropriate location obviously.

If your city already exists, just add it in there.

Name your movie clip "yourfirstname_lastname.mov" or .wav or whatever type of file it is...

No need to email us when your video is complete. We'll just check the server on Monday morning!
