I am a...: Photographer, Volunteer

Little bit more about me

Way before I got my first camera, I always liked to observe everything around me. Now, once someone or something grabs my attention, I try to capture what I see and how I see it at that moment. Photography allows me to freeze a moment in time and make it live forever. So simple, yet so awesome :)

It feels good to give back and that's exactly why I'm here on Help-Portrait. I enjoy helping out while doing that I love.

If you need a second location this or next year, I have use of a building on 20th & P after 1:30PM. I may have a shoot next Sat. that may get in the way..still waiting for a confirmation. I will let you know as soon as I can if I'm available to help. I did try to get this going last year, however, I just ran out of time, I've also been sitting on some other ideas that could raise some money for next year, but we'll talk. If I don't make it out, have a fantastic shoot and give everyone a 'pat on the back' as it were.

I know that there is a big need for this kind of thing up there & with many photographers in the city hopefully you get some support. If you are looking for some people to photography talk to the staff at SCYAP, they may have some students that are interested (you can tell them I sent you, I used to work there). Good luck!
