Our 2012 Event
Hi All! Our event this year at The Darling Home for Kids is on November 24th.We still have to confirm the start time and end time but I suspect it will be similar to last years. Please make sure you come to the planning event on November 18th that Savanna msg'd everyone about. I'm afraid not Tom, I was meaning to email you later today anyway. As much as I'd wanted to participate in this project, it looks like I'll either have to bow out or find another way to contribute. I've been undergoing some nasty medical treatments over last few months and unfortunately my immunity is shot - I'm not be around kids (especially now during cold and flu season) as they're less likely to control the direction of a cough or sneeze.
I'd like to stay on as a member of the group to see how I can help, but I'm not going to be leaving the house much until my immunity is back up a bit.
I apologize that you're not able to count me in as one of the photographers.

Great idea about the childrens' home! I was already previously committed for December 12th (photographing a Bar Mitzvah, booked over a year and a half ago). However, I've been working with a childrens' organization to see if I can photograph deserving families with special needs kids before Dec. 12th. Still in the planning stages.
If I can help with the initiative that you've begun please let me know (i.e. retouching some images afterwards). I'd like to participate if I can, just not available on the actual date!
