We are now approaching our 4th annual event, as we participated in 2009, 2010, and 2011.Thank you for your incredible outpouring of generosity, effort, and time in 2011 to make Charlottesville’s Annual Help-Portrait such a success! here's what i sent out to people today...

Sorry it has been so long since I got in touch with you about the Help Portrait on December 12th. (Some of you maybe didn't hear from me in the first place). Regardless, I wanted to get figuring out what we are going to be doing for this.

First, if you know other people that have been talking about this, please get them on this list so we can have their help.

My initial thought of where this should happen is at The 201, aka Portico Church. They are hosting Pacem during the time this will happen. We need to know if this is something they would want to do.

From here, if we have enough volunteers, they could go downtown to get people and also to Salvation Army, though it is my hope that we can let people know about this in the coming weeks, so it can be on their radar.

Things we need:

Go to www.community.help-portrait.com and sign up with the Charlottesville Group

Nail down shoot location.
Photographer List.
Lights and backgrounds.
People that can help with the editing and printing after the photos are taken
Makeup and hairstylists
Food and Beverage

A time hopefully this coming week to get together and all talk about planning and taking tasks.
