For those of you who may be new to Portrait Photography...
I have secured 5 spaces in an Hands-on Portrait Lighting for Beginners.at Calumet Photo in Oak Brook. I believe that it will be held on Date: July 10th, 2010 10:30am-4:30pm (To Be Confirmed)
During this comprehensive seminar, we will cover the tools and tricks of the trade that will help you to create flattering portraits while exceeding your clients’ expectations.
You will gain valuable insight on classic posing techniques, how to make your client comfortable and what kind of images are the most profitable.
You’ll also learn how and when to use light modifiers along with a variety of proven lighting techniques including flat,split, loop, butterfly and Rembrandt.
We will provide two lighting set-ups and models for hands-on shooting.
What to bring: Digital SLR camera, at least one lens, charged battery and media cards.
Skill level: Beginner with a basic understanding

- I work tomorrow. I love calumet! That is my "go to store" That is where I got most of my equipment. I have two 750 travelites, but the older ones not the newer R ones.
