Can you believe it's already August 4th? Did you know that this years event is only 18 weeks and 2 days away? We're so excited and hope you are too!

Apparel Update

Hi everybody. Just a quick note to let you know that we submitted our order for shirts and a hoodie tonight. Pre-orders will start tomorrow and we will start shipping the week of 11/22. It is expected that we will be able to make delivery before the event date for any order placed by 11/17.

In order to filter out the groups that are no longer active, we are going to be deleting groups that haven't been active since 2009. If you are part of one of these groups, you will have until November 1 to activate a group.

Is Dec. 10, 2011 the only day of the year when this can be accomplished? Can I use the name Help Portrait on my project day even if it's not in Dec. ? We live in Idaho & it gets a bit chilly here in the winter & a lot of our homeless go elsewhere for the winter sometimes.

I am really pissed off with response rate from the leads from some of the event and don't wish to be part of this group.

This is the design some of our volunteers came up for the front of the T-shirt. In the back, we´re going to put the HP logo along with our sponsors´ as well. This year we managed to find sponsoring for the printings, make-up, t-shirts and transportation. This time we´re going to work at a small traditional community. We managed to gather more than 50 volunteers so far! Its going to be a great day, I´m sure.
We had to find an alternative name for the event since most of the people of the community doesn´t speak english at all. Hope that this is ok with you. "Uma imagem vale mais" means "A picture is worth", by the way.
Hope to hear from you soon. We need to get the production of the T-shirts started ASAP.
