I'd like to invite you to join the CODP Help-Portrait Group.

We are a Johannesburg based group and 2011 will mark our third year of giving free portraits. Last year we managed over 5,500 portraits and this year we have committed to a target of over 25,000 alongside the introduction of some exciting new initiatives.

One of our goals is to extend the project outside of Johannesburg and we are keen to explore working with other Help-Portrait volunteers and groups in other provinces. Last year we undertook two pilot shoots in KZN, in Lidgetton and Hlabisa, and this year we are looking to increase that significantly.

We have already established contact with a Pietermaritzberg Photography Club and will soon be meeting them to explore how we can work together. We are also interested in working with or establishing a group in Durban.
