My apologies for the short notice, but I have a family emergency that I need to take care of and will not be in town.
Please keep me in mind for next year as I think this is a great event.
"Hi Rena. Hi George. Thanks so much for your interest!
It's difficult to tell if we'll "need" more people. Last year was sparsely attended, so I'm tempted to say Ina and I will be okay on our own. But, by all means drop by!…"
"Hi Sara. Here's the rundown...
Lakeshore Arts is a small space, but we can share easily enough. Doors open for us at 10:30 AM.I plan to set up a 9' white backdrop on the side wall, by the window, with some strobes. Feel free to take…"
It is very pleasing to note that Toronto and areas around us are (all part of our great Canada) are doing something great for the communities.
We will be taking pictures of over 100 children and some might want a picture with their parent/s or we have sent an invitation to Santa and he may make a surprise visit.
Because of the number we will only be doing the 4 x 6 this year (budget constraints) keep me posted it is inspirational hearing how the other troopers are doing. Luv Maria
Our effort is 'low key' we made a purchase of 4 x 6 Canon Zepher Print and 200 sheets of photo paper, ink cartridges, etc. The support of the Toronto Central Lions Club has made this possible. It was a last minute decision - next year we will have more time top plan for something a bit more elaborate meanwhile we are all joyous and happy campers
It looks like we are finally getting some activity going in Toronto. We are READY TO GO.
It was only by chance that this opportunity was available.
The person who was working on finding a place to 'shoot' cancelled and I had made some inroads and decided to carry on because I felt it was a worthy event.
Let me know how your are working out. We are doing this on a small scale and budget.

Hey Jeremy, how's your planning going?
Do you have a lab on board at all? I'm still waiting to hear back from the one I use but they aren't really practical for same day return service, and are in the north west.
Hi Jeremy - We are getting organized for this wonderful event - so far we have 3 photographers locating in 10 minutes from City Hall, Toronto -
In the poorest district of Toronto -
would you like to know more about us.
One photographer from Toronto Camera Club, One from the Beaches Photography Club and one from the Beaches Lions Club - we have some support from the Toronto Lions Club who have volunteer their time to man the printers etc. love to hear from you...
I would live to be part of this project.
I am photographer but not by proffesion, but as well could do all "admin" assistant work.
Let me know if you still need people for your group.
Hey Jeremy, I'm a photographer fom Sarnia ON, but would like to help out at your area if you still need the help? There are two of us photog's that would be interested in helping. Just let me know and tell me what needs to be done from here.
