Hey Jenny - I am one of the two women who cropped and framed pics at Rocketown last year. Yes, frames are definitely an issue! Shannon Cowart was able to get a large number of frames donated by Michael's in Nashville. Unfortunately, I live in Birmingham AL and I do not have access to businesses there in Nashville that would be willing to donate framing materials. Also, some of the frames had price stickers on them and we struggled to remove the tags while we were framing pictures at the same time. Are there any printed promo materials available that could be used to add validity for the need for frames, maybe something that would show the statistics or results from last year's event? I believe that we should limit everyone to one framed photo, and then provide envelopes for the other prints. We ran out of frames last year My son, Taylor Jones, was one of the photographers; he also works at Dury's and was able to procure printers, ink, and cropping tools for the event. He would probably be able to do the same this year if you contacted him about it. I will be there on the 4th, and would like to crop/frame again if possible! Thanks for your work!
