The blog is actually our main blog, so we're encouraging people to use the forum for questions or group page for posting event info. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your involvement Carlton! Could you post any information about your upcoming event on your group/location page in WA? That way people can see and respond in your area. Thanks!

I had a busy day with a 7 hour shoot in North Bend, Wa on 12/13.
Photos are available at http://carltonward.zenfolio.com/
I still have a bit of touch up editing to do. Encompass made my shoot much easier and I owe them a great deal for making this shoot possible.
45 families are much happier as a result :)

Carlton

Family portraits for the holidays
Encompass to host Help-Portrait photographer Carlton Ward
on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 13, to benefit families in need
Have you wanted to have your family portrait taken but cannot afford to have it done professionally? The national Help-Portrait program may be just what you are looking for.
As part of the program for families in need, Carlton Ward, a North Bend photographer, has volunteered to take portraits of Snoqualmie Valley families in need from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at the Encompass Main Campus, 1407 Boalch Ave. N.W., North Bend. After the photo sessions, he will provide each family an 8-by-10-inch portrait, free of charge.

Its on, I will be shooting several families working with Encompass who will supply a place for me to shoot as well as handling the logistics for scheduling the times, etc...
I am really looking forward to this and to see all the smiling faces.
One difference is that I work from 7am to 7pm on 12/12 so I will be doing my shoot all day on 12/13 instead. I wish I could have done this on 12/12 like everyone else but the spirit behind this project is what has inspired me and being a day behind is a small price to pay as long as I will be able to help my community.
Love in Light,
Carlton
