Hi Alan:
Rock Bay Landing rocks and they really want to have us there.
The space:
Community Room (which will have a divider for our use) keeping the space along the windows for community seating and use
Adjoining beauty salon space (can fit 2 hairdressers and 1 makeup artist)
Adjoining Room with long counter for printers and editing (can comfortably fit 4 editing stations)
Education room about 24 x 12 for extra shooting space
Nurses Station - another available room for make-up or hair
6 available, clean washrooms
The rooms adjoin the main community room so are easy access. The education room is upstairs but also easy to get to. Rock Bay Landing is under a year old, open, bright, new, clean. A special exception is being requested to allow children; otherwise it is a facility for those aged 18 and above. We don't foresee a problem for children being in attendance that Saturday, however they also have another space close by where children are allowed. I didn't bring in my measuring tape so waiting for actual size of the main room where photo stations would be set up. Let me know your thoughts. Loren

Hi Alan!
Last December I talked to Rock Bay Landing about using their new facility for Help Portrait this year and they were really open to it. This year they are excited. It's the perfect space... I'm going to check it again today for size - I'm pretty sure it's well over 1000 square feet.
Re PR: I will put together a list of community organizations today and start a Media List.
