Get together for all Volunteers

Hi everyone,

As we're getting closer to the date it would be great if we could meet up for a discussion and also to get to know each other.

Time: Saturday, 5 DEC at 2pm.
Location: Miramar Community Center to view the venue, afterwards Caf`é Polo, Para Street, Miramar. It's close-by.

If someone can't make it on that day, there is always the chance to meet me elsewise.

Saturday, December 12 at 2:00pm is good for me.

Location wise, Miramar Community Center is great, as I am only down the road.

PS. I also know of some people who work at the Miramar and Strathmore Community Centres, so if we need someone to 'reach out' and make some contacts, that's something we can certainly discuss come this Saturday in Miramar.

Used to work on the Holiday Programe.

Hi Al,

yeh, on the 5th we're just meeting to discuss the event and to give the photographers a chance to see the location.
Thought it would be nice also to meet the group you're actually joining for a cup of coffee or so :-)

Caspian, our Designer, finished the flyer and we're hoping to distribute them to you as well on that day.
They'll probably available around Wednesday, so if someone wants to have them earlier, I can bring them to you.

I'll post the General Plan later this evening, when I'm back from the meetings, hopefully with more news.

This is great. We need to spread the word and get in touch with everyone in our network who can help.
I'm in touch with Lydia from the Strathmore CC, Hannah from Miramar CC is not available until 16Dec.
But Lydia is great and she will spread the word to the other CC too.

Awesome stuff Bren, that's funny because Lydia used to be my boss, haha.

Your right, she is good to work with. I think the Miramar/Strathmore communities are a great place to base ourselves.
