Alright this is the place with the space and the great big windows! Here is our spot to duke it out, comfort and love one another, share our hopes dreams and aspirations, and make things happen.

I submitted our info on K-LOVE so hopefully we will get some local coverage announcement. Its a little late because they want you to submit 3 weeks in advance. Anyway guess we will see, it only gave one spot for the address, so if someone from the other location wants to go to the website and also submit that would probably be good. I am going to call the PR person on Monday and see what he says.
it looks like the big main room is going to be occupied by a dance troop of some sort, so as I suspected, we will be emptying all that big furniture and conference table into the outer hallway and the first part of that big room. It sucks but that's what they can do for us. So it looks like the window light will be a big part...not to mention my daughter Amanda said if its not raining we could use outside. Since as of today we have 9 families signed up, 2 of which are single, I think we are fine with that.
Keep working to find families to serve, we can totally make room in there if we have a huge turn out.
This being the case, are we still comfortable with an hour being our setup time? That's a *lot* of furniture to move.
Okay everyone - I had1000 flyers printed to share amoung us. They are at my studio. You are all welcomed to come by tomorrow or Monday and pick up several hundred from them to distribute at places you know. I have appointments all day and will be in from 9-5. Please let me know if you'd like to stop by to get some. I'll have them sitting out fornt for you. Like I said at the meeting last night my studio is smack in the middle between the Southside and the Pennisula.
The address is 5709 Churchland Blvd.- Portsmouth. Google maps will get you here with no real trouble. Please come on by :) I hope this will help.
I think we'll be ok with the one hour set up. We'll have to prioritize what to tear down first and what to set up first. I think we will need to decide where the hair/make up people will be and set that up along with a table for the food/drinks. Then start setting up the photogs places as the hair and make up will be able to start and get things going while we are still setting up.
Michael - Please add John's name to the Chesapeake group. He's doing the printing for us remember?

Printing is ready to go....Nikon shooters...do you use CF card? My external card reader only had CF slot.
Eric and I shoot CF because we've got D300's
I am starting to have second thoughts about putting a Nikon CF card into a reader that has only had CANON!!!!

Oh it'll just bring a little style and class to it. But that's true you may not want your card reader getting used to that :)
