Hi Everyone!

It's that time of year again! I'm super excited for Help-Portrait 2011 and I'm hoping you are too.This year we are holding our event on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011. We had set our date before Help-Portrait Inc changed the worldwide date to a week later. Our venue had already been booked, so we're keeping our original date.

Each year Help-Portrait Vancouver has grown and to be able to accommodate as many photographers as we can, we have a few different areas you can be involved with; Photographer, Photo Editor, Social Media Photographer, and Assistant. Hi Everyone,

Some of you already know about this event, on Tuesday, November 23rd, we held a small Help-Portrait event for BC Children's Hospital. A small team of us had the honour of giving portraits to terminally ill patients and their families. In total we had 25 patients and their families comes through our doors. Check out the video produced by Steve Tan, and a couple behind-the-scene pictures on the Help-Portrait Vancouver site. There are more pictures on our new Facebook Fan page, and there is always new information coming down our Twitter feed (@hpvancouver).

December 4th is coming up, and we are very close to having all of the funds raised for printing supplies. If you would like to chip-in or know someone who would please go to http://helpportraitvancouver.chipin.com to donate.

PS: Hi Vern, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We were a bit caught up in the Nov 23rd event. All of our photography positions are filled, but you are welcome to come join us at Union Gospel Mission and help us out with everything else. We are holding a food and toy drive for Help-Portrait Vancouver this year. Become a community drop-site and rally people around you to give. Hi Everyone,

The chatter and excitement around Help-Portrait Vancouver 2010 is starting to pickup. We are working through the last details regarding the event. Know that we have been working hard over the last 4 to 5 months to bring all of the details together on both the photographer and community side.

We will be sending out full details about Help-Portrait Vancouver 2010 tomorrow (Wednesday, November 10th) to everyone who has signed up to be involved. We have received a lot of requests to be involved this year, and unfortunately have to limit the number of photographers and volunteers in order to properly run the event.

If you would like to be involved and have not emailed me please do (info@iansheh.com). Though I can not guarantee that you'll be a photographer.
