Kate, what is the plan on providing the families with their photograph? Have those details been developed (shameless pun intended) yet?

Well, that's part of what needs to be figured out. I'm going to get in touch with the manager of the facility to see what his thoughts are.

I'm not sure what's planned for the setup downtown.

My hope is that we'll be able to work with the community managers to get them distributed to everyone. There is also the need to raise money for printing.

I'm in! I live in Northgate and would LOVE to help with the Lake City Help Portrait event! If there are already people taking pics I can do some admin/behind the scenes work the day of and that would be cool too. Let me know if we set dates/times for meetings as soon as possible so that I can get them on my iCal. Thanks!

Hi Kate,

I initiated contact with Fred Meyer on Lake City previously, and submitted a letter and a application to them. You may want to follow up with them and see if they would be willing to donate.

I haven't talked to them in the last week or two because I've gotten funding from the Aurora Village Costco.

If I were you I'd call ahead to make sure the Human Resources manager is there, and ask to speak to her in person. (the HR manager there is the one responsible for donation related things, I think.)

The Lake City Fred Meyer would probably be interested in this opportunity as pretty much ALL of your recipients will be from the Lake City area. This would be a great marketing opportunity for them (big photo envelopes would say Fred Meyers on them, AND saving you cost of buying the envelopes).

In addition, if you provide the recipients with photo CDs, they will highly likely go back to Fred Meyer to make prints, bringing in more customers.

The letter I used to communicate with them is in our Meeting 3 notes. Also, feel free to contact me if you want help with anything.

Our project got moved to Dec 19th, so I'm available to help on Dec 12th with LIHI. =) I'd love to assist w/ a main photographer for experience but am also open to helping wherever is needed. I can also help plan so please keep me in the loop!

Of course Stephen!

Tentatively Wednesday night, 8PM at one of the Starbucks on Aurora (either the one at 100th and Aurora or 130th and Aurora). They both close at 9:00. Or was thinking about meeting in Ballard of Fremont.

Waiting to hear back from people via email, just to see if Wednesday works.

Maybe I should create a separate thread for meetings related to this one?

Let me know if you have any other ideas.
