Event: late July 2010
Hi all,
Recently a fellow photographer, Joey Chandler, posted on Facebook about having a Help Portrait event in late July. There has already been a flurry of posts on the facebook discussion board and I am working with Salvation Army SF to help us with reaching the demographic and with the location.
I wanted to be sure that all folks who are interested have a chance to chime in. Please let me know if you'd like to help out this summer and in what capacity as well as if you have any learnings from December that you would like to pass on.

Hi Joey,
So glad you posted on here. I set up a meeting with Salvation Army on Wednesday Jun 16 at 12:30pm and would love to know if you're available to come along. Also there are several questions such as how many people would we like to try to serve and the demographic? Do we want to set up in two or more locations? When I have access to FB (tomorrow) I'll post this there are well.

I'll try responding on my home computer now...the phone didn't seem to work.
I would love to hear more about a July event. I did not know about the Dec event until I had joined HELP in January. This sounds like something I'd like to be part of. Please keep me posted with what comes next. -

BTW, I live in Marin......if there are more people in the north bay that would know how to set this up, that would be good too......or a location in SF that is closer to Marin. Not a big deal tho for me.
