Good afternoon -
Good news we have 4 printers confirmed and we have raised $1000 for printing (Smugmug is going to donate $900).
So we are seriously moving along and now we start looking at the details. So please do these today:
* if you haven't signed up, do that. Even if we are filled for the photography we'll still need people for processing photos and signing people in.
* Get in touch with your site leaders and see what you can do for them.
* Things we need:
Please spread the word about these items.
* Please donate to the level you can: https://help-portrait.donortools.com/my/funds/43959-Help-Portrait-San-Francisco-California. That will give us the flexibilty to rent a printer if need be.
See you soon,
Joey

This will be my first H-P event so I'm not sure what the logistics are with regards to setup. Are photographers shooting tethered? It might be quite engaging for participants to see the images as they are being shot. It would also allow those doing the editing/printing to be more involved with the actual shoot. I'm guessing this would only work if we had wireless printing or each booth had LR3 and a printer.
Thanks,
Jon
Permalink Reply by First Exposures on November 29, 2011 at 4:55pm Hey Joey,
That's great about getting some cash donations in. We are doing great with frames being donated, but could use some help covering paper/ink costs. We even have a bunch of food being donated by one of our board members for the volunteers. My other question is we could use some suggestions/help getting all the lighting, backdrops, gear, etc. We could use some help with large vans/trucks on the day before, the day of, and the Monday after to make returns. Any suggestions? We are still looking for more help with volunteers that day.
Thanks,
Erik
