AMAZING - WHAT A GREAT DAY.

You can be very proud of what we accomplished.  Not only did we deliver hundreds of great prints but we photographed over 1200 people.  Thank you to everyone for all the jobs big and small that you did today.  Today couldn't have happened without you.

At long last, here are the sign up sheets for all 5 Help Portrait locations in San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley.  If all goes as plan, we'll photograph over 1000 people in a single day which will be pretty freaking amazing.

And before you rush to signup, here are a few details:
  • Below are the signup sheets and the overview of the area.  Please read the overview and then sign up in the area that you would like to help.
  • There are managers for each area - their names and contact info are one the sign up sheets.
  • The most important roles that we are looking for are the team leaders for all locations except the Saint Vincent Depaul.  The roles are:
    • Sign in
    • Light/Camera Set up
    • Photographers
    • Make up
    • Processing
    • Printing
    • Creative Area
    • Food
  • The team leads will work with the manager to make sure everything is ready to go for the 10th and then goes smoothly on game day.  These roles are super important and basically critical to the success of the event.
  • Sign up for areas that you know - last year we had people signup for processing and didn't know lightroom.  Love the enthusiasm but that isn't the place for learning something like that.
  • Donations for printers and blank CDs - we are still working on the printing but it looks like renting is going to be the best option and for that we will need donations.  Any one can make a donation for the San Francisco group (which will include these 5 areas) here:  https://help-portrait.donortools.com/my/funds/43959-Help-Portrait-San-Francisco-California.  
  • We will need around $3000 to cover everything so please donate what you can.  If you are the fundraising type, please take a stab at raising a greater portion.  That would be incredible helpful.

Thanks to EVERYONE at all 5 Bay Area events... what an awesome achievement. A small shout out to all at the St. Vincent de Paul event... from the Make Up Artists, to the runners, photographers, and all other volunteers. Thank You for making it such a great day for the clients.

Thanks to all that made the Bayview Opera House event go so well. Somewhere around 250 photos made for around 536 people by 105 volunteers. More accurate numbers coming when I recover! This was amazing. Oh yeah, all our photos were made by 10-19 year olds who totally rocked it today!!!

Thanks to everyone who helped out at the St. Vincent de Paul Center today. We rocked the house with 114 photo sessions for 140 people. I got a ton of thanks yous from the staff and clients as I was leaving. You guys were awesome. See you next year!!!
