I was able to get into Dunrovin Lodge on Friday morning at 10:30 but the staff there would only have time to help about 6 residents get ready for a portrait. I hope we can manage to organize a much bigger event in 2012. There are lots of options.

I don't know if we have time to get something for this year, but we could start planning for 2012 easily enough, and if someone wants to jump in headfirst, then maybe there is enough time for a small event this year.

Comment by Jeff Closs on November 1, 2011 at 11:49am: I started the Quesnel group two years ago, but was unable to garner enough support or donate enough time to make it work solo.

I am not a good event organizer, I would happily show up and help, and do some footwork in the beginning to make it happen, but would far prefer someone else to take this over that has better organizational skills than a rock - which is about my level!
