I was thinking of inquiring with some of the beauty schools around town. If anyone knows a professional that might be interested in helping out please get in touch with them and let us know. It'd obviously be better if we could get a professional to help out but if not I'll contact the schools.

We found only one volunteer to do make-up.  If you know someone who'd be willing to volunteer, that would be great.  I contacted several salons and beauty schools trying to find volunteers, but no one responded.

Luke,

There are only two locations - Women's shelter and Oakland community center.  As soon as Kevin and I get the final word from the Women's Shelter, we'll send out a schedule/assignments.  Everyone who signed up as a photographer should definitely bring their own gear.

Thanks for the update. That was helpful. Just to clarify though if we signed up as a photographer should we bring our gear just in case? Or will you be letting us know ahead of time who the 5 photog's are? Sounds like there are 5 locations/setups.

 

I can come with lighting and camera gear, or lend some. Either way. Just let me know what you need me/us to bring.

I am hoping to publish the schedule by next Monday - we are still waiting on the final word from the Women's shelter.
