Information for the 2012 Event
The Franklin County event will be held on December 1, 2012 at the Senior Center in Louisburg, NC. We will take portraits between 10 and 3. United Way is partnering with us again this year and we have received a grant from the Franklin County Arts Council! United Way made flyers and distributed them to the Senior Center, Social Services, Safespace, Volunteers in Medicine, Boys & Girls Clubs and parents who received assistance from Build a Backpack.
Five photographers have volunteered their time and equipment! The local Mary Kay cosmetic consultants will be there to work their magic. Friends and students from the cosmetology program at the Community College will be there to provide hairdressing. One of the local Girl Scout troops will be on site to provide arts and crafts for the children while they wait! We are excited and thrilled by the community support! Thank you Franklin County!

Paige, do you have a plan for the shoot on Saturday? I will obviously be at the venue at least an hour before the start to set up. If you have time for a short phonecall give me a call on 919.259.5113.

Paige,
Of course I will bring all the gear, I have a couple of standard backdrops plus the ability to do digital backdrops. Along withbthis I have 4 stobes, umbrellas and light boxes so I'll just throw everything I have in the truck. This should cover all your lighting needs.

Hi Barry! Thanks for joining! The event will be Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Police Training Center in Louisburg. Portraits will be taken between 10 and 3. We are working with the United Way this year and will be offering portraits to the families that requested assistance with school supplies. I believe there are close to 150 families.
I have 3 photographers that have committed, but only one has equipment beyond a camera. I have been planning on renting any equipment that we couldn't get donated. If you are willing to share yours, that would be fantastic!

Hey Paige, joined the community, I have studio equipment (i.e. lighting, backdrops, stools etc.) if you think we can get anything set up for a shoot.
