I'm not going to be able to participate this year - my consulting schedule has gotten packed and I won't be able to take the time I thought for this.  I apologize for dropping out but look forward to next year.

Hi, Omaha Photographers! As we gear up for another amazing Help-Portrait day this December, please work on getting the word out and have as many people join us on this site as possible. That way, when we have info to communicate about our Omaha projects, everyone will know what is going on. Don't forget to block out time on your calendar for Saturday, December 4!

Awesome! Thank you, Shelly! Yes, the plan was to do one big order when all the photos are uploaded. We might end up doing one order now and one order in a few days when all the photos are in. My friend who is donating the printing will place the order.

To everyone - I appreciate your patience in all of this! Next year will be much easier! Time was the issue this first time around, and stores agreeing to print kind of depended on how many we would need, and the number we could shoot depended on how many photographers. Many people confirmed within a week or so of the event, so it was hard to have an estimate up front. Now, we have an idea of what to expect. Next year I'll make sure we're confirmed much earlier ;) And actually, GOOD NEWS! I already have a printing plan in place for next time! Just didn't have an offer in time for our families for this year.
As all things, the first time is a little bumpy. And from talking to other organizers in other places, it was like that all over the world. To me, the amazing thing is that in just a few short months, this movement has grown so rapidly! I love it that so many people want to help make someone else smile! ;)

I hope you don't get tired of hearing it, but THANK YOU all for your hard work!
