I would like to welcome everybody to HP 2010 in the Northern Virginia / Wash D.C. area. I have been pondering over an idea since Dec 13, 2009, the day after we finished our first HP event last year.

We have a tremendous amount of commitment here in this group and trying to figure out how to disperse it to best serve our communities. My thought is to have a few groups with a leader and assistant which will allow us to effectively work together, share resources and communicate.

I would like to set an initial meeting up to discuss these ideas. Anyone who either ran an HP group last year or wants to help organize and run one this year please post your name here and we will set a time and place.

There are a few photographers here that I suspect who will be in this list, but go ahead and speak up. You can email me directly:

What sites will we be utilizing? Will we have an organizing meeting for what sites we will be using and what supplies and equipment we will need.
