Permalink Reply by Wilfred Cameron on December 6, 2009 at 9:55pm I can help with Queens unfortunately I don't have any setups, I can probably gather a bunch of flashes and umbrellas with a friend of mine who also lives in Queens and is a photographer who is willing to help.
Abi Litwa said:Hey so after the meeting yesterday im going ahead with running the Queens location . We now have a location at Betel.org. 26-02 , 4th st, Astoria.
We have 20 to 30 very needy families of whom we have been meeting over the last couple of days delivering the boxes of love and invites for Help portrait day.
We have no equipment as of yet but have been offered the printing kiosk that is being donated by Kodak. So will be able to print directly on site which will be awesome ! Betel is very excited by the impending day and we have a a great space that will fit 2 stations . I need to find 2 photographer - 2 Assistants - 2 make up artists - A greeter / assistant ( very friendly / organized / open person needed ) Someone technical that can run the Kodak kiosk ) We have no set ups yet so are desperate for equipment . As soon as we have interest from people i will organize a meeting in the next week. h
Im so excited for this day and cant wait to hear from the Queens Help Portrait team.
