HELLO NASHVILLE!!! 

This is Jeremy & Shannon Cowart checking in with you, Music City. :)

We are officially gearing up for the worldwide Help Portrait event in just 22 days (!), and we're excited to say we're coming home to NASHVILLE-- where it all started! The Nashville event is well under way thanks to the efforts of Micah Robinson (who got this year's event rolling- three cheers for Micah!), Christina Barnes, Jenny Muckala, David Bean, Jeb Wilson, Ron Justice, Katie DeCillo, Amy Stanfield, Julia Murray and Rachel Moore. These incredible leaders have done an amazing job of getting everything lined up and ready to go!

BUT WE STILL NEED YOU!!  This event would not happen without you. Your willingness to jump in and serve our guests, whether through photography, art, donations, hair and makeup, food service, or just making them feel welcomed and cared for, is what this day is all about. And as we are just shy of 3 weeks away from the big day, we still need many volunteers (as well as donated items - see below for the specifics).  Please email Shannon (shannon@jeremycowart.com) if you are able to participate or help with donations!

EVENT DETAILS

West Light Studios

Nashville, TN 37203 

We are still working out the details of the organizations that will be participating, but as of right now, we will be serving the men, women and families of the Nashville Rescue Mission and Room in the Inn.

OUR CURRENT NEEDS:

1) Volunteers - Photographers and non-photographers alike! Whether you've done an HP event before or you're new to the scene, we just need caring people to come out and serve our guests well. And we can help you figure out your role for the day if you're not sure… we would just be thrilled to have you join us!

2) Winter Gear Donations - We're collecting winter gear (coats, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, boots) to give away again this year. This is such a huge blessing to the families and individuals coming through our event!

3) Photo Paper - 8.5x11, 5x7 and 4x6 (in order of importance). We're expecting to print 800+ photos at the event-- paper is a huge necessity!

4) Printer Ink - The majority of the printers are Canon, so ideally we need CLI - 226 - Black, CLI - 226 - Yellow, CLI - 226 - Cyan, CLI - 226 -Magenta and PGI -225 -Black. And again, since we expect to be printing 800+ pics, a hefty supply of ink is in order!  Generic brands will work too!

5) Frames - 8x10, 5x7 and 4x6 (in order of importance). We would love to give each participant at least 1-2 framed pictures- one to keep for themselves, one to send to a loved one!

6) Mailing Supplies - Small boxes that will hold an 8x10 frame as well as flat 8x10 photo mailers. Sending a little love home for the holidays. :)

7) Makeup & Hair Supplies - Unopened items and utensils that can be used to give our guests the glamour treatment would be amazing!

8) Sponsors/Financial Donations - We would be honored and grateful to have some financial support to cover the expenses of this event. We are seeking to have as much of our needs donated as possible, but there will still most likely be several significant expenses incurred. If anyone is able to sponsor our event or parts of it, that would be both incredibly generous and tremendously appreciated.

PRE-EVENT MEETING & SET-UP

We will have a brief team meeting on Friday evening, December 9th, at West Light Studios where we will go over all the final details of the day with you in person. After the meeting, we will load in and set up as much of our event as possible so that Saturday morning should be up and running pretty quickly and smoothly. Details coming soon.
