My friend and I are willing to do something this year. I think we're willing to either get a place like Limelight or go to a children's ward. Anyone else planning to do this?

I have a handful of photography friends that are ready to go and do this event.

Haha, yeah. I searched for myself once and found your website. I have gotten married since then though, and have changed my name to Micah Caputo.

Well, if they were putting your sales on my account, I hope they at least saw fit to offer you that student discount I get there.

I'd love to go do photography at a children's hospital/ward; I can't find who to contact!  I'd love to hit up Vandy Children's or StoneCrest in Smyrna...

Laura,

I was thinking real hard about doing a Help-Portrait Dec. 17TH at a Children's hospital with a very small group.

I have not decided for sure if I'm going to or not.

 

You are more then welcome to join us or start your own at a children's hospital.

As far as I know though, there are no groups planning that right now.

Who won't respond?

The hospitals?

 

Are you wanting to start your own group for the 10th?

Do you know how many people you'll need?

Cause I might be able to offer some volunteers as well.

 

Answer the above questions and I'll do everything I can to help.

Correct, the hospitals.

I don't think I want to plan any sort of big event; I was originally looking to go in myself.  Never having done an event for a hospital, I have no idea how many people would be needed.

OK, I'll see if I can't get you in touch with someone.

I do think it would be helpful to have at least 4-5 people with you at the hospital.

 

2 photographers

1 person editing/printing photos

1 framing

1-2 runners to deliver the finished portraits to rooms.

 

It could be really cool.

The hospital could let the families know and they could come picture ready.

Hey Micah! This will be my first Help Portrait but I would love to help out. I'm in school right now for photography so let me know if their is anything I can do to help. I might be able to get some equipment from my school.
