Really enjoyed seeing this in action in East Nashville this weekend. I along with a few others spend every Sunday morning trying to teach those kids that they are beautiful, special because they are hand-crafted by God, the great Creator. We discuss self-image and confidence with these young girls, hoping they'll see it for themselves. Watching their eyes light up when they saw their hair nicely done for the first time, their mom with makeup, looking more beautiful than ever, made my heart light up. These kids saw themselves as special, and they'll have photos to remind them of that feeling whenever they doubt it. My fiancé drove one gentleman all the way out to his house in another town to 'freshen up' for his picture. I thought he looked nice in the black shirt he had on prior, but when I saw the gleam in this quiet young man's eyes when he showed back up looking dashing in dress pants and a tie, I realized what a special day this was for him, for all of those families. Thank you to all of the volunteers that took photographs, backed cookies, served drinks and food, and provided warm coats and mittens for these families.

I had an awesome time yesterday helping out with the movement of Help Portrait and meeting other fellow photographers in Nashville surrounding areas, God Bless all who could join the team and give to those less fortunate.

Yo, I shot today next to Jeb. I think my step ladder disappeared when I was loading my car. I'm guessing it just got borrowed to take some other stuff down. I left without it because I thought I'd loaded everything in the car. In case anyone loaded it up accidentally its a white ladder with 3 black steps I'm going to go back up there tonight and see if i can find it. if anyone thinks they have it or might have loaded it with someone else's gear let me know and I'll see if I can hook up with ya to get it back. Thanks guys.

Just joined yesterday and see that there might be an invent tomorrow at Rocket Town is there any space for another photographer there or another location in town? Would love to help out in the morning time if possible.
