Hi guys...

We will have an organizational meeting for Help Portrait at The Darling House on Tuesday, November 1st...unless the majority can't make that day and then we'll have to pick another day.  Let's meet at 7 pm at Bryden's.   We'll be discussing our teams and equipment!

George here! Sorry for the lapse in response on my part. Thanks for jumping on board for MBC. I'd like to meet with the MBC group on Wednesday Nov 2nd at 7pm at MBC (200 Main St E.) I'll know for certain by then what printer(s) we'll be using and also discuss equipment, setup, etc. We plan to have two shooting stations and two printing stations. We'll need one person in our group as the second shooter and another to join Chrissie at the printing station. I'll provide my Mac Pro Tower and MacBook Pro for the workstations. One machine will run Lightroom and the other will run Capture One Pro because my licensing agreements don't allow for one software to be ran at the same time on multiple machines by more than one person. Lightroom is the easiest to use and print from so if someone else has a machine with Lightroom installed (licensed or a trial version) that would be great to have. I'm anal when it comes to licensing on my machines.  We will shoot tethered for a easy workflow so the second shooter will need a 12-15ft USB extention cable. It costs about $12 at Vistek.....can anyone donate one or borrow one from someone? We'll set a date for a mock trial for tethered printing at the meeting.

For clarification, the meeting Nov 1st is at Brydens and the one on November 2nd is at MBC?

I have a USB extension cord I can bring to the meeting George.

 

I can't find where, but someone has said we have conflicting locations for the Nov 1st meeting.  it is at Brydens, NOT Ned Devines.  We thought Brydens offered a more intimate and potentially private area for a meeting.

Yes, the 1s we are meeting at Bryden's and the 2nd we are meeting at MBC.
