I just found out today that the makeup artists I volunteered with aren't doing this this year. But, I wonder if there is anything going on with this in St. Louis at all, since they said the same studio/people aren't doing it this year???

I wanted to give you an update on the Midtown event, what we need in terms of help and some additional information.

Event Details:

We will be shooting photos on December 10th, all day. Anyone helping at the event will need to be there at 9am for help with set up. 

We will be set up at FK Photo Studios in Midtown Alley. 

Where we need help:

Right now, we are at capacity with photographers (about 15). We simply do not have the room or set up available for additional photographers to shoot.

We do need general volunteer help in the following areas:  meeting clients, checking in clients, assistants to photographers, child entertainment/wrangling, general help.

If you are interested in coming to help, please let me know. We would love to have you! 

What if I want to shoot photos?:

The biggest response we get every year is from photographers. Most of those that shoot with us each year, come back the following year (so our space was maximized quickly this year). 

However, there are still lots of folks in need in the St. Louis area. 

If you want to set up a location to shoot we can certainly help in the following ways:

1) We can help coordinate additional clients and likely a location at a non-profit to shoot photos

2) Our "Big Picture" coordinator will happily send all of our planning materials and help consult on how we've set up for the last 3 years

I wish we had more room for photographers so that we can let everyone take photos. We will be happy to help anyone set up another site to do the same though.
