Update - Just got off the phone with the principal of West Hempstead High School.  He's going to compile a list of families for us.  I am going to see if we can combine our efforts in doing some kind of event.  No date has been discussed at this point. Still much to do

Joanne and Mark, thanks for the support.

Sounds great Scott & Kelly!  All in!

I'm in Scott as long as the date is available for me.

Kelly and I have contacted a friend who works in the West Hempstead school district.  Our friend had mentioned how badly her Island Park kids were hit  by Sandy and that some of them to this day are still not back in their houses.  A lot of her students were not well off to being with.

We asked her to pass along the information of what we as a HP community do for those in need and that we would like to do this for them.  This is still in the early stages and just wanted to keep everyone informed that another HP event may be coming up soon.  There is no date or location yet, as we are waiting to hear back about their interest.

Had all the pictures printed to 8x10.  I will be delivering them to St. Patrick's today.  Really nice working with all of you.  Thanks again for a great event!

25 families received the GIFT of photography last night, thanks to our amazing TEAM of photographers sharing talent and gear. A special thank you to Mark, Scott, Saul, and Kelly to pulling all the elements together. As Deacon Frank said last night, "Giving these families a meal is something we do all the time. Giving them a family portrait is something they would never be able to do. And it is something they will cherish for many years to come." I believe that says it all. Thank you again TEAM LONG ISLAND!
