Here's the info on H-P's status in the U.S.

As Costco is U.S. owned (I believe) this may be relevant.

Glad to hear they're looking at bending rules, and I hope it works out.

Richard, his hesitation was not in the fact that he thought we were not bona fide, just that Costco has rules within their charitable guidelines that they follow.

Help-Portrait is registered as a charity in the U.S. I'm not sure its Canadian status, but suspect it is not. However, if anyone is reluctant on the grounds that it is not a "real" charity, it might be a good idea to refer them to the international website so they can see we are in fact not doing this on a fly-by-night or commercial basis.

I'd like to attend a meeting to get to know the people I dont already know and be included in the loop cause I know a has happened and it's tough to keep up on it all. Wednesday would be fine for me too I believe, someone just pick a time and a place, preferably somewhere central.
