0 Comments 1 LikeI think this would be the best place for everyone to post what they are willing/capable of doing on the event date (December 10).
I'm willing to play the role of general gopher. I will fill in anywhere needed (except photoshop and printing).

Permalink Reply by Paul Wisenberg on December 1, 2011 at 1:35pm I am open to any role really, I'd be interested in helping co-ordinate volunteers, helping people register, as well as processing, printing or photography, if necessary. It may help if we can come up with a few specific role categories for people to commit to! This is really coming together, and great idea to have this offshoot Designation discussion
Permalink Reply by Richard McGuire on December 1, 2011 at 1:49pm I'll fit in wherever I'm needed: photography, voice-activated light stand, Photoshop, greeter, coffee getter, traffic control, etc.
You probably don't want me on hair or make-up though if we want the clients to look good. :-)

Permalink Reply by Richard Whittaker on December 1, 2011 at 2:06pm The way this is going we might have to ask does anyone wanna be a shooter? lol
I'm gonna say I'm willing to be a gopher but I shoot events and sports mainly, with tight news deadlines. I have a laptop with CS5, multicard reader etc use to working in fast pace processing environment, I can process photos as they come in putting on that help-portrait template. Or whatever else is needed to be done to free up others for shooting who usually do portraits.

As I said before, I am on crutches so not terribly mobile.
If you plop me in a chair at the entrance I could perhaps welcome people and give them an idea of what to expect and otherwise direct "traffic".

Permalink Reply by Jany KLEIN on December 2, 2011 at 2:54pm Not a portrait photographer, but I know Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom. So anywhere I can be useful.
I'm an amateur photographer. No portrait training. I can volunteer on Dec. 10, assisting other photographers, I have some photoshop elements experience. I do have a Nikon D5000, tripod and lenses. I can do some phone calling on a few days this week. Or just help where needed.
Permalink Reply by Mary Sue Smith on December 4, 2011 at 9:51pm I too would be willing to do what needs to be done on the 10th. Unfortunately, my week is pretty jam packed with work and school so I'm not as available during the week. I'm willing to do some shooting; I've got some portrait experience (though mostly in class studio work) and lots of post processing experience. I'm open to assignment where needed.
