Hi everyone,I'm not sure if this group is still active or not but I recently found out about this group and I think it is amazing! I currently work at a shelter for homeless youth in North Etobicoke…Continue

Comment by Jeremy Sale on November 7, 2012 at 12:23pm It's that time of year. Lakeshore Arts has graciously agreed to let us use their space again on Sat., December 8th. Let me know if you're interested in helping out!
Comment by Sara Wilde on December 12, 2011 at 10:19am I really hope so! I even have a makeup and hair artist for next year! Again so sorry, and I'm glad it turned out amazing!!

Comment by Jeremy Sale on December 6, 2011 at 3:21pm Hi Sara. Here's the rundown...
Lakeshore Arts is a small space, but we can share easily enough. Doors open for us at 10:30 AM.
I plan to set up a 9' white backdrop on the side wall, by the window, with some strobes. Feel free to take photos whenever you want during our time there. The big window should allow great available light photos, too.
We don't have a make-up artist, but that never stopped anyone. There will be coffee, juice and cookies.
Other than the three photographers who have committed, I have NO IDEA who's attending! It'll be fun, though. If it's dead, we'll talk shop and have a coffee-drinking contest. If it's busy, we'll zip people in and out as quick as we can.
I'm not using a printer on site. I'm sending the files to Fotobox, after the event.
We will review the shots with each client, and they will decide which one (1) they want. We will write the file name (e.g. DSC_3452) on a business card, and the client will take that to Fotobox in a few days for their free print.
My plan is to post all photos on my site for free client downloads.

Comment by Jeremy Sale on December 6, 2011 at 2:19pm Sara, thanks for your interest. Would you say you're primarily looking to shoot, edit, video...? What's your forte?

Comment by Jeremy Sale on December 6, 2011 at 12:48pm It's a small space, so there's really only one shooting area... I'm happy to share it and take turns though. Printing will be done off-site, and the clients will pick up from the photo-finisher a day or two later.
