Fresno Help Portrait Event for 2011

Hello people of the Fresno Help Portrait group!

I wanted to get a jump start on this years event and while we will probably do the Fresno Rescue Mission again; I wanted to get some thoughts or ideas about also serving at Valley Childrens Hospital.

For those of you that want to be involved this year, help by getting some comments and ideas going around, Thanks!

Hi Brittany,

Welcome to the Fresno Group. Your participation would be greatly appreciated. Our 2009 shoot was at the Fresno Rescue Mission. Last year, the FRM wasn't able to give us a date for a shoot. However, some of group members shot at other venues.

Any level of skill is fine. Non-photographers are welcome, too. They can help with getting subjects into the shooting area and/or help pose them.

We have used shoot setups for one or two person , torso up portraits, seated groups, standing groups. You can shoot at your own comfort level. We have lighting and backgrounds that can be borrowed at the shoot.

We should soon receive word on the shoot date. I'll message everyone when it's known. Feel free to contact me about any questions.
