Derek,

The Dec 11th shoot is okay for me.

Non-shooters are welcome! We need help guiding the family members and posing them.
So, let's hear from all shooters & assistants. Leave a reply so Derek knows how to plan the shoot.

I asked Clawson Motorsports to lend a few 5 or 6ft red trees with red ornaments. These were formerly used in Gottschalks department store. I can borrow the trees that are unused for store displays.

If needed, I can bring extra gear to lend at the shoot: background fabrics, Speedlights, studio lights, lightstands, light modifiers. Just let me know on the gear.

Sorry guys, but I wont be able to join you on Dec. 11th. Ill be out of town :(

But I've been talking to the church in south Fresno and we agreed to do it on Nov. 27th.
So if anyone is interested please let me know.

Also, if anyone has a 1 or 2 backdrops which they could borrow for a day please let me know.

About the red Christmas trees, I can borrow some for the Dec 11th shoot. Let me know if you want me to bring any.

Hi Derek,
Would have been nice to have a couple more photographers and assistants. Please speak to Donna about the number of singles, couples and family groups. We could both setup in the large chapel room. I would like to use a solid white background, like last year. This year, I will have two 10x16 white fabrics- one for a 16 wide background and one for a 16 wide floor. Won't have to worry about the background being too narrow for the larger families.

As soon as you get the details set with Donna, please let me know.

Sasha's event went well. The church handed out event cards to the neighborhood and rewalked the neighborhood on the day of the shoot. A volunteer printed 4x6 photos on site. Larger prints are coming in a week or so. He is doing it again this Sunday. So, I loaned him a the two white backdrops and stands.

Heyall. Sorry to be checking in so late...I'm afraid I'm a no-show 2 years running. I'll be out of town on the 11th, just like last year. :( Still, I'm super excited for what you're doing. Keep up the great work.

OK gang here is the current info. Looks like this year at the rescue mission is cancelled =(

There might be some more opportunities in the near future with them. But keep in touch with this page and I will keep it updated.

I apologize.  I have been out of the office for nearly 3 weeks fighting an illness.  Today is my first day back.  Needless to say, this particular project was on no one else’s radar but mine.  I think, given the timing, it might be best to postpone this until next year.  I do have a small project that might interest you.  Our Academy Couple Class meets every Valentines for a special evening of dinner and dancing with their wives.  This might be a small opportunity to offer them the gift of a special photo for that event.  I could notify you of the exact date.  Let me know your thoughts!
