Things are coming together for the Los Angeles event. We went down to the LA Mission yesterday morning and had a great conversation with the gifts-in-kind manager. She is very excited about what we are doing. She is even a makeup artist herself and volunteered her services if we need them.

The plan is to meet there at 8am to set up. We have from 9-11:30 to shoot so it won't be a long day. I am getting them a flyer to hand out to the homeless in the area so hopefully we will have a good response.

I am looking for help from the HP community, however. I am desperately looking for a couple of printers we can use that day. Since this is a homeless outreach we need to be able to deliver the prints that day. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I have tried to get a hold of reps from Canon and Epson to no avail. I have also been trying to find a place that rents them thinking they might be willing to give one to us for the day, but haven't had any luck. I would appreciate any suggestions!

Yeah! I Finally figured out why I wasn't showing up in the F&B group...... I had to join this group first...... I thought I joined the group when signing up.. what a dork. Happy to be here none-the-less

Wendi... You didn't miss the meeting. It's this Saturday after the photowalk in Pasadena. I hope you can still make it! I think for that Saturday (the 12th) we are going to just stick with Pacific Lifeline. I am putting together a list of people that have committed and how many we will be photographing and it looks good so far. If we end up with too many volunteers we'll definitely include another place. Also, we are hoping to make this a regular thing so any other ideas you have would be great!

Frank, Jeffrey, & Nikki-
I was not able to attend the meeting/discussion you all had...but I was wondering since we have so many people willing to shoot adn edit, should we just stick to this one site (Pacific Lifeline Women's Shelter) or would it make sense to include another? I don't want to spread ourselves thin but I also want to utilize as many as are willing to help. Just a thought....what your thoughts? peace.
