Ypsi-Arbor and SW Detroit Area
I just found out about H-P. I'm in Ypsilanti and I'm interested in working with folks in the Ypsi-Arbor and SW Detroit areas if possible. I can travel farther afield if need be but I'd love to work close to home if possible.
Does anyone have any suggestions on organizations to work with? The two that I can think of off the top of my head are: SOS Crisis Center in Ypsilanti and Ozone House in Ann Arbor. Both could be great places to start.

Check out Southwest Solutions. It is a GREAT organization serving the southwest Detroit area. They have several community programs, teaching job skills to homeless veteran's, child/family programs, etc. You would have no shortage of opportunities there!
