3 DAYS until Denver Help Portrait.... We have Santa and we are gearing up.  If you haven't started packing your gear... get to it. Get those batteries charged and plan to meet on Saturday Morning.  If you are not assigned on any particular list, NO WORRIES... We have things for you to do... Come, Participate and Enjoy the Day when Denver Gives Back!

Hello Denver Help-Portrait,
Thank You all for your generous donations and reaching out to the group to make the 2011 Denver Help-Portrait Event happen.  We are able to meet the initial deadlines so start packing up your gear and getting ready for an amazing day on December 10, 2011 at Our Saviours Lutheran Church where this Denver Help-Portrait Group will be giving back for a 3rd year in a row to those less fortunate and in need with portraiture.
 
Stay tuned to the Facebook page and the Denver Colorado Community Page on the Help-Portrait site for more details.  Please feel free to contact Chelsea with any questions you might have.
 
Chelsea will continue to accept donations for the event so if you have someone who would like to contribute to the event that would be spectacular.  Keep the donations coming in.

There are more details to work out and finalize, such as printing and food.  If you know someone who has a printing connection, please reach out to them and ask about possible involvement in our event.  We will need to secure food for our volunteers, so if you have some ideas or connections to hook up some snacks or food now is the time to get them connected.
 
If your connections are not able to help for 2011, assure them we would welcome their support for 2012.  Unlike previous years, We WILL be starting the planning process for 2012 in January and would love the connections. If you are interested in being part of the core group and willing to commit and dedicate some time to the event on a larger level, shoot us a note, let us know.  Company supporters will be recognized on the flyer's and any advertising we do for the upcoming events.

UPDATE:

THANK YOU to those who have donated, We are HALF WAY there...  This is proof that the Denver Group wants to make 2011 happen.  Please spread the word and lets hit the mark and get the preliminary stuff covered.  We are not giving up, we are Denver,  and the heart this group shows is proof we can make Denver Smile for a 3rd year in a row....

We have drop dead deadlines due in the next 24-48 hours for funding.  Without this funding, we cannot proceed with the 2011 Help Portrait Event at OSLC.  We have a liability policy that MUST be paid within the 48 hours to get underwritten for the date, that is $490 and $200 for the use of the facility. We have $0 money collected. We have a couple donations on the hook closer to the event. Our expenses have not yet been determined, as we have not finalized the printing and other expenses. We need to act NOW, we need to secure and have in hand $690 within the next 24-48 hours in order to have the event proceed. Chelsea is available to arrange to meet you to pick up funds, call, text or e-mail. If we cannot meet this, we will need to take another route for 2011. I apologize in advance for all the notices you will receive while we are on this FUND DRIVE to keep DENVER ALIVE in 2011. Chelsea cell 303-506-3326.
