Permalink Reply by Tim Norman on November 8, 2011 at 6:36pm I can do anything needed. I have 15 years experience as a photojournalist. I have a Canon 7D, wide and telephoto zoom lenses, 3 canon flashes, radio remotes for 2 lights, a couple light stands, background stand and bar, 3 muslin backgrounds, a 16x20 softbox, a couple hotlight strips (4 bare bulbs in a row), a windows laptop with photoshop and lightroom, a couple 40ish inch umbrellas, and a reflector. I also have an Epson 1280 photo printer, but I don't know how well it works since I don't use it regularly for printing photos any more. (It's a bit dated and took a rough ride through the mail system on my move out to Denver.)
Permalink Reply by Andrew Berglund on November 9, 2011 at 2:19pm Hey Chelsea,
I wasn't sure if I'd be in Denver on the 10th and I've been crazy busy with work and school this year so I haven't had the time to be part of the core group this year. It looks like I will be here on the 10th, but studying for finals, so I don't think I have a full day to help, but I'd like to help in some way.
Permalink Reply by Chelsea Midkiff on November 10, 2011 at 2:00pm Awesome Andy. If you want to come the day of and volunteer for awhile that would be great. I am going to get a schedule together for the volunteers and you could plan on a few hours if you want! Or let me know what you have in mind.
Permalink Reply by Lisa Garibay Turner on November 16, 2011 at 2:38pm Hi, I am available that day...let me know how I can help. Can you tell me what time this usually runs? I couldn't seem to find that info. I have 2 alien bee strobes, softbox, softlighter, backdrop stand, seamless paper...the works. I used to set up studio in my home. Thanks! Lisa
Permalink Reply by Tim Norman on November 21, 2011 at 7:54pm In case someone didn't get back to you Lisa. The event is on Dec 10 this year and runs from 10a to 4p. Volunteers aren't expected to do the entire day. If you have a facebook account you might want to check in on the Denver Help Portrait group there since it has some more info.
