Hello H-P Denver,
Some friends and I have started a competition that uses photography to change the trajectory of lives of those without a reliable source of sustainable, clean water. We call it River to Well. We're a grass-roots, non-profit organization that hosts an annual photography competition where 100% of entry fees go towards the building and restoring of clean water wells.
In the last two years, we've has been able to build and fully support two wells in remote South Africa, and this year we're focusing on well restorations in the Cabo Delgado Province in Northern Mozambique.
The deadline for entries is this Friday, the 30th, by midnight.
We're also hosting a gallery opening of the winning images and honorable mentions on Friday, November 4th at the Buxiejo Gallery on 7th and Santa Fe here in Denver. This is a "First Friday" and the show is also a part of Denver Arts Week.

Thanks for your time. I look forward to seeing you all again as HP starts up for 2011.
