Cost: $40 per hour (for custodial services since it is not a school function). Erinne has a possible person to fund this cost, but if not, we discussed each of us paying for 1 hour. The total cost is going to be $200.

Distributing: Allison, maybe a few helpers if anyone is interested

Decor: Erinne & Mindy will be proving decor for the tables/entrance. The school has tables for us to us
PR: We are going to need PR for the day incase any media were to show up. It needs to explain what we are doing and why. No marketing though.
Volunterrs: Please invite your family/friends to come help with the different areas.

Next Meeting: We are planning on meeting the Friday before the event at the school sometime after 5:00. Allison is checking with the school and will let us know when to arrice. We will use this time to set up and figure out the flow of the day.
Flow of Events: 1. People arrive
2. Check in
3. Make-up & Hair
4. Take photos
5. Edit & print photos (give them a choice of 3 photos to choose from and then print 1) They can eat/drink refreshments while they are waiting for any of the steps.

Peter-- I've got my 85mm and my 70-200 - So I'm thinking I should be able to make due with those. I have the 28mm as well but I only bring that one out if I really need a wide shot, I'm not a fan of that lens. I think I should be okay, hopefully anyway :)

- I don't think Jordan and I are on the e-mail list - I get a couple random ones every once in a while. Just want to make sure we're not missing out on anything! There's a meeting tonight at 5, right? Oh, and I broke my 50mm! Great timing, right? :)

Hey all -- Sorry we missed the meeting yesterday! Jordan and I have both been sick the last few days and figured we'd spare you all the germs :)
So great to hear we have a location! I am still working on hair, though it sounds like we *might* have some possibilities at SquareOne based on the little that I just tried to catch up on here...hopefully something comes of that! I'm having a hard time finding girls who are willing to give up their Saturday's...I'll keep trying though.
If there is anything else Jordan and I can do, please let us know!

Comment by Allison Walton on December 2, 2009 at 3:37pm - Mindy - the publicity spot you're unsure of is Emmanuel Baptist. They are a church on E. Third Street, and they have a very active youth group comprised solely of kids from that area. LOTS of needy families there. My cousins are in charge of the youth programs there. I'm in contact with them about possibly bringing a bus (or several cars) of families down that day for the shoot.
