Inspired by the Help Portrait idea, and unable to participate on the scheduled date, I have created another event on Saturday, November 12, 2011 photographing families at the Children's Hospital.

It is so great to hear interest from so many to participate in this amazing project!  I feel so privileged that I have been able to be a part of this for three years in a row!  I currently do not have a date planned for 2012, but if you would like to have me contact if we get something planned for 2012, please contact me directly at av@abigailvolkmann.com.

I really want to be involved with this group, but I don't know how to connect. Please let me know what I can do.  I have my own camera/lenses, and I'm proficient at  CS5.

I  am interested in getting involved with this mission in Dec.  Do you need any photographers? I can edit also.

We are photographing this year, Saturday, November 12th from 8 AM- noon.  We have all our photographers secured, but are happy to have volunteers to help assist.  Assistants would help set up and tear down equipment, and if applicable, help with selecting, editing, and burning final images.
