Hey Gang! Here are the vital statistics for this year's Help Portrait event.
When: Saturday December 10th, 2011. Setup and prep begins at 8AM for all volunteers. The doors are open to the public from 12PM-4PM.
Where: Captivate Church, 400 Luzerne Avenue, Baltimore MD 21224
Who: You!! If you are interested in helping out, here are the people you need to know:
Hospitality - For those people who just want to reach out to the community and help greet the public and listen to their stories, post a comment or contact Colleen Smith -
Photographers - For those people who want to setup a station and impact someone's life with a portrait, post a comment or contact Mike Stog - email@example.com
Technology - For those who want to help out with all things tech (training, setup, troubleshooting) during the event, post a comment or contact one of these guys: Aaron Curtis - firstname.lastname@example.org, Karl Leifeste - email@example.com
Hair & Make-up - If you have a flair for the glamorous side of things, we could use you. Post a comment to the post if you are interested. Tanya Curtis will heading up this area.

Hi, this is my first time with Help-portrait. I'm a photographer, but no portrait experience, and it seems like a lot of photographers are already signed up, so I'll gladly help with technology or hospitality, wherever I'm needed. I do have an old 17" macbook pro with Aperture and Photoshop CS4 that can be used as well.
New folks are always welcome! One of the spots to help is as a photo editor. Sounds like you'd be a great fit! We can always use people with computers, and software! Welcome aboard!
Do we have any promotional materials that we can get from you to reach out to the locals?
Jon, can you qualify what you're looking for? Are you seeking a poster to share information or a letter to request support or a flyer we can distribute into the neighborhood?
I know Mike is working on a flyer for this year and hopefully that'll be ready to go soon.
