Yesterday after the meeting I went over to Inspirador in Chandler and talked to the owner and they are more than willing to give us their location for December 12th.

Hey Everyone, I'm Joe. I only joined last week, but haven't seen any plans or activity for Dec 10th, which is already next Saturday.
I'd like to propose that some of us get together and just start putting some plans together for later this month... I am a photographer, but will offer to bring my laptop & retouch photos for the other photogs. I use both Lightroom & Photoshop for batch processing & retouching.
What I don't have is a good quality printer to offer, but would be willing to provide some of my 4x6 photo paper.
Finding a church or community center that is centrally located shouldn't be too tough, it's the timing between now & Christmas that will be challenging. Next Saturday will definately be too short a notice for any church or organization to get the word out to their people.
Can anyone provide a printer? More than one printer will be great, but we need at least one. With ink supplies too... if it's not too much to ask.
Can someone help me work the phones to find a church or organization that is centrally located in Phoenix?
Can anyone do makeup and such? I can try to find a low price kit that we can use, if needed. A gift set, like those I've seen at Target should have the basics.
My contact phone is 623-810-3298. I have bankers hours (8a-5p), so evenings & weekends are best times to contact me.
Jump in... let's get something going. 'Til then,
Comment by Julie Melka on November 18, 2011 at 3:23pm I know Doug! It looks like these meetings were from 2010 though from what I could tell. I wanted to be a part of this too.
Comment by Douglas L Smith on November 18, 2011 at 8:01am I am totally new to this but it looks great. I see that there are several Meet Up Groups devoted to Help-Protrait in the Phoenix area. I do not see that any have anything set up for 2011. December is coming up fast. I live in the west valley (73rd Ave near Southern).
