looking at the map, I would actually prefer the Vista site; but wherever I'm needed I'll go.

I think you are right about the generator.... :-) I believe the Vista site event is in the morning because they had other events scheduled after 1pm.

Renay Johnson
Canon 30D, external flash, photek softbox/umbrella,
Will decide on site when I find out where the sites are

Comments: I can probably borrow some reflectors for use if need be but they will need to stay at the site I work at since I am responsible for borowed items.

Extras: 2 Alien Bees AB400 with umbrellas and light stand, RF Flash triggers

Comments: I would rather participate as an assistant than be the primary shooter but I can do both, I just don't have tons of portrait experience but would love to help out. I also have a friend who does counseling for low-income families and I can have her give our information to her clients.

Which sites you can work: Vista
Comments: I live in Oceanside, not sure how many are needed for December 12 in Vista? Seems like the preferred destination. Anyway, I am happy to assist and/or shoot some. How do we determine what to bring?

Equipment: Canon 5D Mark II, Canon EF 100mm f2.8, Canon EF 24-70mm L f2.8, Canon EF 16-35mm L f2.8, Canon 580EXII Speedlite Flash, 1 set of PocketWizards Plus II, 43" Westcott shoot-through umbrella with stand, laptop with adobe cs4 if needed
Locations: I'm down with either, but live in Mira Mesa area. Is there an event for both? I only saw the event for the Mira Mesa one. (Nvm, found the Vista event as well. It just didn't show up when I searched for San Diego).
Comments: I'm more experienced as a fine art/street photographer and I'm still just testing the waters with more formal portraits. I'd prefer being someone's assistant.
