We just got a letter from the LA Mission that I wanted to share with all of you:

Nikki,

I really don’t even know where to start. Your magnificent outreach to our community on Saturday was so heartfelt.

I couldn’t believe it when 50 some odd people burst into the Spanish Chapel and all the photographers started applauding. That ripped my heart right out of my chest. What a welcome.

Your precious crew threw themselves into this event. Every homeless man, women and child felt loved, special and appreciated. You lifted up people that have given up on themselves, I felt so honored working alongside of you. Please give your team a gigantic thank you for a job well done.

What an amazing day, HELP PORTRAIT is a such a blessing, you will never know what an positive impact you made in so many lives that day, including mine.

Thanks everyone who came out to help at PATH! We served 29 people, having fun and learning together as we did. Several talked about doing this again before next Dec. How about HP Easter?

Thank you all so much for giving your Saturday! There were 2 separate instances when I was almost overwhelmed with emotion in hearing the testimonials of URM guests looking at their photos. SO great to be a part of an amazing day!
