Important notes for this team:
1. If you plan to focus on any one person(s) for an interview in the video please get their permission and have them fill out a model release form.
2. Work together in a final video. Incorporate photos from the team.
3. We need quickness if possible as needed below...
As you may or may not know, we have CNN and CBS Evening News doing huge stories on Help-Portrait! So exciting! We also have tons of their affiliates in all your local towns wanting to do stories as well. So at this point we need a lot from you...
Here's a list of things we need:
1. Be sure to videotape your day! And be sure your subjects are aware of what's going on. If they don't want to be videotaped, please respect that privacy!! We only want willing participants! So anyway, we're actually going to need footage uploaded Saturday night. So you might have your video person start working away as SOON as your event is finished. CNN and CBS might use your footage to broadcast nationwide and if not, your local cities might use it as well!. So you never know where your event could end up showing!
The next step would be to upload your video to our servers. WE WILL BE SENDING FTP INFO tomorrow. I'm so sorry we don't have that at the moment. It will be available tomorrow and we'll send the info.
Please email us at info@help-portrait.com when your upload is complete with the subject of "HP Video - Tokyo" or "HP Video - Los Angeles", etc.
Also if your subject is willing, interview them about their story and what H-P means to them...
As far as video formats, CNN said the following "The formats we take in are mov, mpeg, avi and wmv." They also said "It would also be helpful if we can get a name of any of the photo subjects and any background information.... male or female, age as well as any info on what their situation is... homeless or victim of domestic violence, etc."
Lastly, please give us official permission in your letter for your video to be used for our purposes and CNN, CBS purposes, etc...
