I am thinking with the short period of time before the event and the busy schedule we all have, it would be best to play it by ear. I am sure after the event many will be tired or have other plans and many will be energized and want to hang. Since we don't know how big the group staying will be it is tough to try to plan something out.

What we could do is locate a couple of venues near the cafe where we can hang out afterward. This way we make it simple for everyone, and we already have a couple of options as to where we want to go and what we want to do.

Well that would be ideal. I know the area fairly well (Dad lives around the corner from the Global Cafe) but I cannot for the life of me think of one decent spot. There are coffee joints aplenty, but all are very crowded usually.
