Hi community.

Due to the high quantity of groups that have been abandoned, we will be going through and deleting groups that haven't had any activity in the past three months.

If your group is active and the group page reflects it, your group will be retained. If your group is inactive, then we will be deleting it over the next couple of days.

If your groups has been inactive, but you're still using it, please update the group page with your current information and provide a direct link to your groups homepage.

If you have any questions, please post them below.

Thanks!

Kyle

Kyle.

I want to help you very very much, but being disabled and having a few issues on the table (possible broken back, again) I can't jump on this like I'd like to. But I would like to do portraits for Thanksgiving, if everything turns out ok at the neurosurgeon tomorrow. Please feel free to contact me at 203.755.0099. I am someone you would want on your team, trust me. OrangeMercury.com

Best regards.

Kyle.

I am in Waterbury CT, which is equidistant from Danbury, Hartford, and New Haven.

I do not "socialize" with other photographers, or people.

I prefer to work on my own.

And your cause is something that fills and breaks my heart at the same time.

Please let me know how I can operate as a single photographer in CT.

Thank you so much.

Bernard.

I manage the New Haven HP and could give you some guidance if you wanted.

I have just logged on been away for a while i am what some would call wanna be some would say weekend warrior ... but i am tryin my best was gunna ask how the heck is best to start this ball rolling since support in UK north seems a touch non existant

Hey Mark. We have a small UK group here trying to kick-start in connection with our South African group and we'd love you to join us.

Hello Kyle,

Help-Portrait Austin Tx. is very much active, however the ability for us to update our information has been an ongoing support issue since 10-09-12. Our current website is www.help-portrait-austin.org and I am still awaiting access to correct our Help-Portrait records. (support ticket 17) Please let me know how I can assist.

What is the best way to proceed? Since on Help-Portrait.com our last group activity was in August do we let it purge and re-appy or is there a more direct way to assign the record to me? I look forward to your response.

Hi I am not sure how to provide a direct link to my homepage? I am having another Help portrait session before Christmas 2012~ it is a pleasure to donate my time etc for people that otherwise would not have their portrait taken for Christmas~  April   p.s. I tell them it is simply a gift from me for Christmas ~

April...there's a "website" section in the group settings. You can place it there.

Hi Kyle ~  please direct me to where the group settings are as I cannot find? Thank you !

Is there a group this year for the Atlanta,GA/Decatur,GA area that I can assist with?

- with respect... the site seems very difficult to utilize - I am dealing with high school students in my Photo Club and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to distribute a link so that they and the other adult volunteers I've contacted can add themselves to the group (unless they are my friends on FB - and even then it's a chore) - so how can we make our site active if it's problematic to use? I've had a request in for a donor link for two weeks, and got one response so far from you that the issue was being looked at. I need to get my donor link set up to fund my event. Your site is the only way I can legitimize the project, to parents, students, my administration and potential volunteers - and it's next to impossible to navigate to my group (Southern Westchester in NY) if I send them to the HP home page.

I am a true believer in the project, but for months there was nothing on the site but references to 2011 event - hard to get cred with that face. I know that you're volunteers too, and your heart is in the right place, but if you want the events to be simple, focused, tight and productive, we need a web presence that is the same. Good luck - looking forward to the changes. Please don't eliminate our group because it looks inactive - God knows we've tried to use it.

Marty

Marty,
If you have the ability to host a website and buy a domain name, I can give you the theme to my HP website. Hosting your own site helps to legitimize the event as well>
